How physiotherapy fees work with ACC
If your injury is accepted by ACC, part of your physiotherapy treatment is funded. Most clinics charge a small surcharge per visit, which helps cover the full cost of treatment.
Your physiotherapist will confirm whether your injury qualifies for ACC support and explain any costs before treatment begins.
Cancellations and no-shows
Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t attend your appointment.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not attend, a fee equivalent to the standard ACC co-payment or full private fee may be charged. This will need to be paid before further appointments can be booked.
