What is the difference
between physio and rehab

Physiotherapy focuses on reducing pain and restoring movement.
Rehabilitation builds strength, resilience and confidence over time - helping you return safely to work, sport and everyday life.

Treatments and technology we use

From hands-on therapy to rehabilitation technology, we use a range of tools to support your recovery, including dry needling, hydrotherapy and shockwave therapy (available at select clinics).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You don’t need a referral from a GP or specialist. You can book directly and if your injury is ACC-related, we can lodge the claim for you.

How many physio sessions will I need?

It depends on your injury and goals. We focus on efficient recovery and helping you manage confidently long term.

Can physiotherapy help long-term pain?

Yes. Physiotherapy supports long-term pain management through graded movement, strength work and practical strategies. We can also refer you into our pain management pathway if more support is required.

Is physiotherapy covered by ACC?

If your injury is the result of an accident, then yes, it is likely your injury is ACC-approved. We can help you check eligibility.
