Graduate Programme

Completing the appropriate course of study is the first step in setting one up for success as a future healthcare professional. Habit Health’s Māori and Pasifika scholarship programme is designed to support students in many ways to kick-start their thriving careers. This opportunity is suitable for passionate and aspiring future healthcare professionals, who are committed to being a part of this initiative in all ways possible.
Whether you are completing an undergraduate degree in physiotherapy, occupational therapy or a postgraduate in counselling, psychology or occupational health nursing, Habit Health is committed to improving diversification through stronger representation of Māori and Pasifika in healthcare.
The Maori and Pasifika Scholarship Programme is designed to build upon the representation of Māori and Pasifika to effectively enable diversification of healthcare delivery.
It is available for students of Maori and Pasifika descent studying one of our listed healthcare disciplines. This scholarship is only open to citizens and permanent residents of New Zealand.
What the Māori and Pasifika Scholarship Programme offers*:
Funding of $500 during your second year of study
Funding of $2000 during your final year of study
A paid summer internship at a Habit Health clinic before the start of your final year
A final year student placement with Habit Health
Coaching and mentoring from a Habit Health employee in your chosen area of study
Secured employment after study
